About us
Scientiarum Vis, which roughly translates to "the power of knowledge", was founded by Dr Davide D'Aleo with the aim of being a powerful supplementary study resource for students, professionals and anyone with a keen interest in the subjects that we cover.
Our services include a focus on tutoring, proofreading for essays and other academic work, interview preparation (including mock interviews and CV feedback and development) and moot coaching for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court competitions.
We are currently in the process of developing online courses, if you would like to make a request for a specific course please fill in this short form.
Biography
Dr Davide D'Aleo has an undergraduate degree in law (LLB with honours) from the University of Aberdeen, a Masters of Science in International Business (MSc) from the University of Leeds, and a Doctorate degree (PhD) in International Business from the University of Liverpool. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb). For over five years he has coached students in both the Jessup and Vis moots and has also judged these competitions.
Davide currently works as a Business Development Manager for an international arbitration centre and prior to his PhD he worked in audit at PwC.
